TEN FOURTEEN SUPPORT ‘THE KIRKWOOD’ and make 2022 a better place.
2022 has been a turbulent year for everyone impacting many businesses and charities as they try and recover from the pandemic. Following a ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’ fundraiser held last summer for ‘The Kirkwood’ and our visit to present the a cheque we felt both humbled and privileged to have been part of something so incredible and as such felt that we needed to offer something to the volunteers as a BIG thank you for being so selfless and making ‘The Kirkwood’ such an amazing place.
We subsequently decided to offer a free Christmas dinner to the volunteers as a thank you. Both evenings were well received with the response from the The Kirkwood shown in the images.
As our continued support for The Kirkwood we have been selling raffle tickets at £1 each to win an incredible ‘Chocolate Explosion Hamper’ the winning ticket was drawn on New Years Eve raising an incredible £XXXX.

“I just wanted to let you know that I attended the volunteer’s meal at the 1014 bar last night and I would just like to share with you what a wonderful experience it was, for myself and all the volunteers.
The hosts Jayne and Nigel were charming and attentive and the staff just couldn’t do enough for our wonderful volunteers, needless to say everyone seemed to have a lovely time and the feedback was extremely positive.
